Canonical Program Ingest & Rundown Handoff

The uploaded Command program is the schedule's canonical playout asset. Dolby HLS is an enhanced rendition of that program, not a replacement scheduling source.

Upload directly into a draft rundown

Open Playout → Upload master.
Select the finished browser-playable program master.
Choose Upload + add to rundown.
Select market, service date, local start/end clock and optional start offset.
Ingest. Command stores the asset in R2, creates the Program block, and attaches the same asset to that block.
Inspect the Schedule day before publication or air approval.

Safety gates remain separate

Upload/attach does not publish the HVN EPG, approve the rundown, or arm automation. Use Build → Publish → Approve → Arm in that order.

Live production

OBS / Owncast remains a distinct live takeover path. Use Live Event blocks or TAKE LIVE / OBS, then RETURN TO SCHEDULE.
