One control system, six inherited markets, one truthful viewer output.

Current procedure for the redesigned Command shell, National/local recovery, Command-only schedule, persistent graphics, Apple playback, deployment, and release verification.

What changed

Command is reorganized into quick daily controls and five collapsible work areas while preserving every existing operational panel.
The status strip reports National output, six-market inheritance, and Command API health without opening engineering tools.
Master Control now has one deliberate Restore 6 markets to National action for stale or black local buses.
HVN Live contains no baked-in substitute schedule. It displays only a schedule published from Command or an honest unavailable state.
Manually taken station and screen bugs latch until BUG OFF or CLEAR. A station-bug video loops when its hold point is zero and freezes only when a hold point is explicitly authored.
iPhone and iPad viewers stay on the composed HVN fullscreen surface so Command graphics and the premium trailer remain visible.
Apple-compatible delivery uses fragmented-MP4 HLS with independent segments and preserved codec signaling.

Start-of-day operator path

Open Home and review the four numbered tasks.
Open Schedule, build the National day, attach approved program masters, publish the viewer EPG, and approve the day for air.
Open Playout and start scheduled programming for National/all markets.
Open Master Control. Confirm the strip reads 6 of 6 on National.
Check National, New York, and Miami confidence. All three must show the same source, title, and clock when no local breakaway is active.
Take and clear a harmless station bug and screen bug. Confirm the viewer and Command preview match.

Restore all local markets to National

Use this only when one or more local markets are black, stuck on an old manual master, or holding a stale presentation override.

Open Master Control.
In Network recovery, press Restore 6 markets to National.
Read the confirmation carefully, then approve it.
Wait for the status to report six repaired markets.
Recheck New York and Miami first, then Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, and San Antonio.

Local manual program takes, stale local playout mode, local station/screen bugs, station IDs, breaks, loops, alerts, and operator notes.	National program state, uploaded media, schedules, schedule assignments, accounts, analytics, settings, and all historical audit/as-run records.

The v35.7 migration performs the same local-bus reset once at deployment. A later explicit local breakaway can still be created normally from Command.

Station bug and screen bug rules

Apple playback and graphics truth

Safari's native iPhone/iPad video fullscreen, Picture in Picture, and AirPlay separate the video element from HTML overlays. The web application therefore keeps Apple touch devices on the composed HVN fullscreen surface and disables separated PiP while presentation layers or the premium intro are active. This preserves the HVN bug, screen bug, safety layers, format indicators, and Dolby trailer in website fullscreen.

The media packager already outputs Apple-compatible fragmented-MP4 HLS with four-second independent segments. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos metadata are passed through and validated rather than invented.

Important: DOM graphics are not physically burned into the encoded master. To carry dynamic graphics inside native iOS fullscreen, AirPlay, or PiP, the program must be routed through a real-time encoder/compositor such as an OBS scene or a dedicated server-side graphics pipeline. That is a broadcast-infrastructure change, not a safe static-site patch.

Command-only schedule

The live page no longer ships old partner/mock program cards. The schedule endpoint returns only explicitly published Command rundown days. Drafts remain private. If Command or D1 is unavailable, the viewer sees Schedule temporarily unavailable and is told that no substitute schedule is being shown.

The release script changes into each Pages project root before upload so the sibling functions/ directory is bundled. The media packager code was audited and did not require a v35.7 code change. Deploy it only if its production deployment is behind the package baseline.

Production acceptance

Setup Doctor reports core healthy.
National plays the approved master immediately after the premium trailer.
New York and Miami inherit the same National master and clock.
All six local markets report National inheritance when no local block is active.
Station and screen bugs remain visible until cleared.
iPhone/iPad website fullscreen keeps HVN graphics and the premium trailer visible.
Settings tabs stay inside Settings and saved values survive reload.
Live profile/avatar updates after the account change without a stale cached image.
Schedule cards exactly match the published Command rundown.
Advertiser and creator PDF exports open, extract text, and match the selected scope.

Do not promote production until all ten items pass on staging.
