Go-Live Checklist
Do not go public because the homepage looks finished. Go public when legal, technical, account, content and broadcast fundamentals pass.
Cloudflare / identity
- Iridesceux public domain is live.
- HVN public domain is live.
- Command hostname requires Access.
- Founder bootstrap completed.
- Admin/employee roles tested with separate accounts.
- D1 and R2 bindings pass Route Doctor.
Website
- All public links/routes tested.
- HVN legal/privacy links go to the Iridesceux Privacy Center.
- No private Command/documentation links are public.
- Forms tested from submission through receipt.
- Site Studio changes verified on both sites.
Broadcast
- Primary feed works.
- Backup feed tested.
- Standby loop tested.
- Butterfly trigger/off/reset tested.
- Station ID and station bug tested in each market.
- Screen-bug ad preview/take/clear tested.
- Commercial break preview/take/abort tested.
- Emergency switch and return rehearsed on test feed.
- Emergency stop rehearsed on test feed.
- OBS agent shows online.
Operations
- First programming schedule loaded.
- Rights/QC status confirmed for every program.
- Operator responsibilities assigned.
- Emergency contact/incident procedure known.
- Backup copy of current production package stored.
v20.4 required production-readiness checks
- Access JWT CORE check is green with
COMMAND_REQUIRE_ACCESS_JWT=true. - Remote header-only auth is disabled.
- R2 upload + persistent inventory + protected preview tested with representative files.
- Command live monitor successfully frames the intended HVN staging/production player.
- Realtime presentation Worker tested or the slower fallback behavior is explicitly accepted for rehearsal only.
- Wrong-market and wrong-asset-type TAKE attempts are rejected.
- Station ID auto-return, screen-ad completion/interrupt, and commercial-break completion/abort are rehearsed.
- Primary → backup → primary and emergency stop are rehearsed on a non-public test feed.
- Safety alert expiration/time-zone behavior is verified for at least Eastern, Central and Pacific markets.
- Run
TESTS/run-all.shon the exact release package and save the QA report.
Then complete the real staging checklist in Production Readiness Tests.
HVN public-account + schedule launch checks
- Create a disposable HVNid on staging and verify sign-in, logout, profile, location and watchlist persist.
- Complete a real password-reset email and verify the one-time token cannot be reused.
- Verify Cloudflare rate limiting/WAF is protecting login/register/reset endpoints.
- Put a real non-draft program block in Command Schedule and verify it appears on the HVN live page.
- Confirm no W3Schools/MDN test clips or other demo video sources remain in the public schedule.
- Confirm Iridesceux privacy disclosures cover HVNid viewer data before enabling public account creation.
